Your own tropical island on Lake Malawi

 An ideal week-long break for hardworking city folk. At the end of the Air Malawi flight from Johannesburg you will swoop down onto the Club Makokola landing strip that lies squeezed between baobab trees and the beach. A short walk via reception will lead to a refreshing swim in the lake, and within hours of leaving the city your island adventure in Malawi, the “Warm Heart of Africa”, will have begun!

Price is R9,036 (valid until 31 Oct 2005). Price includes five nights on Mumbo Island and Domwe Island (adult sharing, including all meals and all activities), two nights at Club Makokola, all transfers and airfares from Johannesburg.

Ponta D'Oura - meaning the place of Gold is situated on the southern most tip of Mozambique. a four hour drive from Durban. The quaint little town of Ponta is not only host to a community of bottlenose Dolphins but is also the location of some of the most spectacular dive sights on the continent of Africa. Holidays at Ponta are for the sport enthusiast or scuba diver, not forgetting the amazing encounter with the incredible dolphins. The winter months see the migration of the humpback whale. So from swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, surfing unbelievable barrels or simply taking it easy on the pristine white beaches...this is a perfect 3 ot 5 night break from the old daily grind!

• Flights ex Cape Town, 5 days car hire, 1 night dinner bed and breakfast at Bush Baby Lodge, 3 nights 4 days dinner bed and brunch in the Dolphin Beach Camp that is right on the beach or in Capfe Del Mar, which is perched majestically on the Ponta Ridge overlooking the Bay.
• Full skin diving course with practical bay session to familiarize yourself in the water.
• Full briefing and code of conduct detailing rules and regulations when interacting with the wild dolphins.
• Hints on initiating play.
• Educational and interactive slide show by Angie Gullan, expert in dolphin swim programs.
• Dolphin discovery boat rides with Dolphins highly trained skipper Herman or Harry. Early morning launches are reserved for full tour participants and each session last about an hour and a half.
• Return border transfers from Kosi Bay Border.
